Woolwich Memorial Tournament Champs
This past weekend the Wolves competed in their 1st tournament of the year, just a short drive up the road in Woolwich. The boys just coming off recent tryout had a great and chance to bond as did the parents and siblings. We had a parent bbq in the park outside the St. Jacob's Arena on beautiful, balmy Fall Saturday afternoon. After the bbq there was another exciting game which seen the boys improve to 3 and 0 advancing to the Semi Finals.
The boys came up against some tough competition against OMHA team from Woolwich, Hespeler and Centre Wellington. It was a great opportunity to play against some teams we generally don't traditionally play.
The scores for the weekend were;
Round Robin:
Wolves 4 - Woolwich 2
Wolves 4 - Hespeler 2
Wolves 3 - Centre Wellington 0
Semi Final:
Wolves 4 - Centre Wellington 2
Final:
Wolves 2 - Woolwich 1 Double OT
