Waterloo Wolves Atom Select Improves to 4-0!, News, Major Atom 2006, 2016-2017, Select (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

On Sunday, November 27, 2016 the team travelled to Cambridge to face off against the Winter Hawks.

The boys came out a little flat to start the game and if it wasn't for the solid goal tending efforts by Jacob K, we may not have been able to come out of the first period in a 1-1 tie.

Cambridge was able to take the lead when they banged home a power play goal. Not to be out-done, Waterloo battled back with their own power play goal on an a nifty passing play with Justin L-W and Nate G with Justin finishing off the play to tie things up at one.

Goal number two was a short-handed effort by Ethan A who picked up the loose puck at our blue-line and went the distance finding the back of the net.

Nate G found the back of the net for the next 2 goals with Brett V also scoring.

All lines contributed in a 5-1 win.
