Wolves Food drive....& some hockey
The weekend of giving back to the less fortunate for the boys continued on Sunday afternoon at RIM.
The "Battle of Waterloo" took on a new meaning this weekend with our Minor Bantam White Wolves taking up the challenge from the Black Wolves on a friendly competition of "which team could donate the most food".
Both teams took the challenge on 150% and came up with
2791lbs of food and donations from their family, friends and neighbors totaling
2781 meals for the less fortunate!!
UNBELIEVABLE effort from both teams!!!
To top that off Team WHITE figured that wasn't enough. So post game they continued their community efforts and wrapped 50 presents and stockings for the
FAMILY 100 charity. Every kid should have a present to open on Christmas morning and our boys were glad to ensure there they could help out anyway they could!!!
Oh yeah......the boys did play some games this weekend. Big 4-2 win over Hamilton Red on Saturday night to keep us in the hunt for 1st place in the division and ended the weekend with a hard fought 1-0 loss to the Black Wolves in the Battle of Waterloo.
All and all it was a great weekend for everyone involved!!!
