Food Bank Volunteer Night
The Minor Bantam White Wolves had extremely busy weekend giving
back to the community and in between playing some exciting hockey games!!
The Wolves started their weekend on Friday night along with the coaches and our parent group volunteering 2 hours of their time helping out at the KW Food Bank.
Sorting food and packing up donated items for the less fortunate in the KW community. Like most 13yr olds, a little competition amongst the forwards and the defenceman gave them a little added incentive!! By the end of the night they packed and sorted 8 skids donations from across the region and learned that not everyone in the community is as fortunate as themselves.
The coaches and parents are proud to see the boys giving back to a community!!
