Red Wolves Take Two Points in Parkdale
The Wolves added 2 more points towards their run for the playoffs at the expense of Hamilton Red.
After battling traffic on the 401, the Wolves came out flat in the opening moments against Hamilton Red and found themselves down 1-0 after 1 minute and 26 seconds. Grayson S. would get the Wolves back on track with back to back goals 2 minutes later. Before the first was over, Ryder H. would add two and Emre A. another to give the Wolves a 5-1 lead.
In the second, Hamilton got one back, but Colten T. would restore the four goal lead and the period ended 6-2. In the third, Wyatt M. stretched the lead to 7-2 but Hamilton continued to take advantage of the Wolves aggressive fore checking and pinching by sending players high and getting chances on the fast break that eventually led to their third goal. Wyatt M. would finish a nice feed from Boyd S. to ice Hamilton 8-3.
Ryder H. took the hard hat for his relentless puck pursuit and Grayson S. took the lunch pail for getting the Wolves back on track early in the game. The Wolves head to the CUJO tournament weekend to test themselves against some of the best Tyke teams in the province.
