Congratulations, News, Major Peewee, 2015-2016, AA / A (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

The Waterloo Major Peewee Wolves just finished a gruelling weekend at the ScotiaBank Tournament in Mississauga. The Coaching staff is extremely proud of the boys for finishing second out of 24 top ranked hockey teams.

The Wolves went through their pool with an undefeated record of 2 wins and a tie.  With so many Peewee teams in the tournament they needed to add a Quarter Finals.  This is when the Wolves worked effortlessly to defeat a tough Mississauga Ice Warriors team 2-1.  The Semi-Final game was probably the Wolves best Team effort as they out worked a top ranked Oakville Team to defeat them 3-2.  The Final Game was their 6th game of the weekend with the tough task of playing Ontario's top ranked team Ted Reeves.  Although we ran out of steam and didn't get the victory in the final game, the Wolves should be extremely proud of their accomplishments.  The coaching staff really felt we grew as a Team this weekend. Congratulations Boys!!
