Sharks - ATTACK
What A Tournament

Way to go Sharks

Sadiq seems like he is back to mid season form even thought he has only played a few games since the broken arm.

3-0 in the round robin! That is a great affirmation that we can win any game we play.

The Sharks are a very good team

The semi final of the Jayden Elmore was a total nail biter

As far as I am concerned it was a tie game

So, Sadiq is still undefeated in regulation time since his return to the Sharks.

He faced two penalty shots in one game.  Holy cats!  What a pressure cooker!

I am glad I was not the goalie (that is was Alexander said)

The overtime format left a little to be desired, but, as tournament organizer what do you do?  You have to break the tie somehow.

How did it end… 1 on 1, face of in our end, against one of the toughest players in the league.  Conner.  Who do I put on?

I had no idea who to send out.  I put on Jackson.  I would like to send a high five to Jackson.  He was in a really tough spot.

Jackson played him very well.  Conner got a quick shot away and Sadiq made a great save.  Jackson pushed Conner right to the side of the net.

Remember that if there is a penalty at this point it is a penalty shot.  Jackson had to be careful.  Jackson played the position perfectly.

Conner scored the goal for Skills Plus but he had to work for it.

It was the great play by the other team and they won it.  And for that they deserve credit.

Also, the Sharks played a great game with very few penalties and really no “chippy” play.  In a game with emotion like that it can get out of hand.  Both teams played brilliantly.

Congratulation Sharks on a great tournament.
