Schedule & Results, Major Peewee, 2013-2014, Select (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

Good game tonight, especially if the players ate anywhere near as many Christmas goodies as I did. Right from the start we saw some great passing and strong back checks. As the game went on we did a good job of getting the puck back to the open points for shots and winning the battles below the goal line to dig out the puck and make the passes to the front of the net. 

In our end we were setting up well for our breakouts but need to work on making those first passes to the stick, not to the boards. 

We got into a bit of penalty trouble with 3 lazy penalties. We all know how much of a difference it makes to spend over half a period playing short handed so we'll focus on fixing that on Saturday.
