Schedule & Results, Major Peewee, 2013-2014, Select (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

We came out strong in the first period, using our speed to take the play to Vaughan and putting a lot of pressure in their end. We were rewarded by finishing the 1st period up 1-0.
In the 2nd period Vaughan stepped up their play and we let up a bit which let Vaughan get on the scoreboard. That should have been our wake up call to step up our game, but instead we got down on ourselves. 
In the third period we picked up our play again and a highlight was a 2 minute penalty kill where we spent almost the full 2 minutes playing in the Vaughan end of the ice. This proved that we have the speed and skill to compete with Vaughan.

Saturday is a new day and I know we will play a strong team game to prove ourselves.
