Wolves end weekend on a high note
After a tough loss Saturday night to London White, the Major Bantam Gold Wolves rebounded with a stellar effort Sunday to defeat London Green 3-1 at Argyle Arena.
A penalty-packed match-up (40 total minutes) tested both squads with London opening the scoring on a power play in the 2nd period. Loosemore buried a shot 5 minutes later to even the score (with assists from Davis and M Schouppe). Through a see-saw power play battle, Gold scored on even strength with Hemmerich making no mistake on a feed from Davis and Onuska. A final power play goal by Onuska (assisted by Yourth), plus a lot of hop and puck control, closed the game.
The team looks gelled and ready for Hamilton Tuesday night.
