Bantam Gold hits full stride
Our Bantam Gold boys charge the season with two strong wins.
Last Sunday vs. Brantford, the Wolves commanded play despite 12 minutes in the sin bin, winning 3-1. In the 2nd, Beal opened scoring with assists from Yourth and Ciulei. Hemmerich scores twice (in the 2nd and 3rd) with two apples from Onuska and one from Shi. Brantford scores one on a PP in the 3rd.
Wednesday night, in Stratford, our Wolves again controlled the game with a 4-1 result. Lenizky buried a tic-tac-toe from Shi and Hayes to open scoring in the 1st, with Stratford evening the score near the end of the period. In the 2nd, Gold shut the door - adding three goals by Hemmerich, Shi and Hayes (unassisted) with helpers from Onuska and Hemmerich.
