Alliance MD Bantam Tier 2 Champs! Has a nice ring to it.
We went undefeated in Stratford and a clutch overtime goal in the final sealed the deal for a very deserving group of players. An amazing season in where our squad finished off with just ONE loss in our last 19 games. This truly was a special group of players I had the privilege to coach and mentor this season.
This team was one that was built on the foundation of RESPECT from day one. As a coaching staff we demanded it, from the players perspective it was a two way street and they deserved it from us as well.
Everyone gave it their all. Every shift. This group was like a family and their play showed it.
To sum it up...
- We won the Ace Bailey Tournament in Stoney Creek in October
- A gut wrenching 12 round shootout loss vs Single A Peterborough in the Ottawa tournament Semi-final in November
- An loss in OT on a terrible bounce in the London Tournament final in January
- Won the East/Central MD Tier 2 League going 9-1 in playoffs
- Defeated Hamilton then Brantford in playdowns to earn Alliance East/Central Tier 2 Championship
- Went undefeated in Stratford to capture BANTAM MD ALLIANCE TIER 2 CHAMPIONSHIP!
