Flyers, Novice Recreation 2004, 2012-2013 (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

Way to go Flyers!  What a great way to end the year.  We had two tough games to end the tournament but managed to win both because of your hustle and teamwork.  In our second last game we scored the go ahead goal with only 7 seconds left on the clock.  The championship game saw us playing our season long rivals the North Stars.  The game was back and forth from start to end but we ended up winning 5-4.

Congratulations Flyers for a great year and for a terrific effort in the year end championship tournament. We ended up playing both of the teams that made the finals and we lost to each of them by only one goal. Each and every one of you improved throughout the year and all of the coaches and parents are proud of you. A special thanks needs to go to all of the parents, grandparents, siblings, and other Flyer fans. We had huge support at the tournament with the biggest and loudest cheering section and lots of signs posted around the rink. Let's get ready to end the season in style with ...
