Minor Midget Ice Wolves win the Burlington Bull Dogs MD Challenge Cup
The Minor Midget Ice Wolves hoisted the Championship Cup at the the Burlington Bulldog MD Challenge Cup.

They faced Kitchener Blue and Ancaster Avalanche in the round robin winning both games 2-1 and 4-0 respectively allowing them to advance to the qualifying round where faced Kitchener Blue again.  It was a close game with regulation ending in a tie 2-2.  After overtime was played it remained tied taking the game to a shootout.  Waterloo scored on one of their shots and thanks to exceptional goaltending Kitchener was shut down allowing Waterloo to advance to the semi's where they face Brampton Battalions. It was another hard fought battle and was again tied at the end of both regulation and overtime at 1-1 resulting in another shootout.  Again stellar goaltending blanked Brampton while Waterloo was able to capitalize on one of their chances.  This set up a final game against Oakville Optimists where the team came together and dominated the game with an 8-0 win to capture the championship of their first tournament of the year.
