Wolves Win Silver Stick Qualifier
The Minor Bantam AA Wolves won the Silver Stick Qualifier in Stratford with a hard fought 2-1 battle in 5 periods over a tough team from Orillia. This sends us to the Silver Stick Finals in Newmarket from January 13th to 16th. A blast from Chris Jaworsky to finish the game and stellar goaltending from Blake Jensen were key to the victory. All this was after we played a 9 period semi final in a big 2-1 victory over Cambridge this morning. Connor Galvin got the clincher in that game as many people were glued to every move on the ice. Adam Colquhoun stood on his head to keep the game even until the game winner.
A total team effort all week carried us to victory. Way to go boys!!
