Welcome To 2025-26 Wolves U15 Select Tryouts!
I am excited to get our 2025-26 team selected! Please note that all communication will be done through our team website. Here are a few items to take note of:
Registration
- All players MUST be registered and paid with Waterloo Minor Hockey ahead of the tryout or else the player CANNOT go on the ice.
Schedule
- Due to limited ice availability in Waterloo, our tryout period is very limited and condensed. Please note that I have no control over the scheduling of the tryouts.
- However I am prepared to select our team within this short time period.
- Please arrive 60 minutes before the first tryout to sign in at the desk and receive your practice jersey. Jerseys are to be handed back in after each tryout session
Friday September 12th - 7:00pm to 8:00pm @ RIM Park, Pillers – Skills/SAG Session
Saturday September 13th - 10:30am to 11:30am @ Albert McCormick, West - Intersquad Black vs Yellow Game
Sunday September 14th – 7:30pm to 8:30pm @ Albert McCormick, West - Intersquad Black vs Yellow Game
Releases
- The final team will be chosen after our 3 tryout sessions. Releases during the tryouts are not expected.
- The final team will be posted online by Monday September 15th in the evening at the latest.
- If you would like feedback on your players release, please wait 48 hours after the final team roster has been posted prior to contacting me.
- Please remember that I am tasked with choosing the most complete team. Releasing players is not a fun part of the job, but it is a necessary requirement.
- We are looking for skilled, hardworking hockey players with positive attitudes who will fit within the vision I have for our team this year. We are going to be a hardworking team while still achieving our main goal of the team having a FUN hockey experience!
- Selecting this team is going to be as challenging and I apologize in advance for breaking the hearts of players who are not chosen for this team.
