The Waterloo Wolves U16BB White capped off a terrific season with a dominating win in the Alliance finals! The wolfpack played with focus and discipline resulting in a 6-0 victory in the battle of Waterloo for the trophy.
It was a beautiful display of teamwork as the white team worked together and took an early lead in the first period thanks to four goals from some beautiful passes from our forwards. It was an unbelievable performance by our Defencemen and hats off to our goalie, Maguire K. who registered the shut out. A special mention of a sick move by #44 who took the puck end-to-end, including a one-handed catch of his own stick while flying down the ice. The entire team played a terrific game!
A special thank you to our amazing coaching staff for guiding, inspiring and motivating the boys to work together and play hard. We appreciate your commitment to coaching the team this season. The team sure had fun shaving goalie coach John K.'s head as he kept his promise to let them buzz off his hair/beard if they brought home the trophy!
It was a great season and we thank all of the players, coaches, volunteers and families for a wonderful hockey experience!
