The U14BB Gold team have returned home from the Nazim Kadri
North London Tournament as Champions! ...
The boys opened the tournament on Friday with a win over Oakridge, followed by a loss to a speedy Markham Waxers. A win against West London and Sarnia on day 2 resulted in a three-way tie, of which only 2 could move on to face the leaders from the other division. The Wolves squeaked through as the tie breaking rule was in their favour. This morning the boys were able to repel the host North London, to set up a re-match against the Markham Waxers. This time around, the boys would come out hot and played with their hearts on their sleeves, earning a 2-0 victory and claiming the championship.
The coaches are proud of how hard the boys worked; this was a complete team effort! On behalf of the coaching staff, we want to congratulate the boys on their performance. Let’s keep the hard work going as we head into the final month of preparations for playoffs.
