Timber Wolves, U10/U11, 2021-2022 (Waterloo Minor Hockey)

Wow What a great game by the entire Timberwolf team this past Sunday!  I think I speak for the entire coaching staff when I say we were immensely proud of the effort and teamwork displayed.   Our opponent had previously beaten us by a healthy score twice prior, this game was a huge showcase of how hard the kids have been working on their positional and situational awareness.  The team truly came together as a unit on the ice; the amount of chatter on the bench with encouragement and excitement was fantastic to see. The entire Timberwolf team put in a very determined effort this past Sunday in a 3-3 tie with the leagues second place team. Its important to note that while one player may have scored, these goals would not have been possible if we all hadn't have done the work to create those opportunities, strong defensive play leads to strong offensive opportunities.
