The Waterloo Wolves Major Novice Select team are
champions of the Dofasco Select Tournament!
This past weekend the Wolves traveled to Stoney Creek to compete in the Dofasco Select Tournament with high hopes and expectations. After being finalists in their first tournament, the boys determined that this time, Silver just wasn't going to cut it! The team was first in their pool after the round robin at 3-0, moving into the semi's on Sunday morning. A very solid effort resulted in a 7-2 win over Woodstock that would send the Wolves to the finals against a very strong Kitchener team. The team was very focused and started strong and aggressive which carried through the whole game, a terrific effort by the entire team resulted in a very hard fought and well earned 6-2 victory.
Every player can be proud of his contribution to the weekend's success.
