Waterloo kept up the pressure into the second period as Enoch picked up the second goal of the night with Calvin Witt and Jacob Tauer getting in on the action. Riley Waters pounded the puck from Luke Young and Lucas Skanes into the open side giving the boys a 5 - 0 lead. A battle in the neutral zone had Enoch Banjo power his way through all the defenders and grab his third goal of the game. It took the grounds crew several minutes to remove all the hats from the ice.

Early into the third, Bryce Martin made it 7 - 0 for the wolves on a pass from Keelan Ropp. 30 seconds later, Quade Willson bounced the puck up the neutral zone boards to Riley Waters. Riley's pass over to Hayden Taylor went through the legs, under a stick and between two Burlington defenders before Hayden's soft hands lifted the puck over the pads of the goalie. Burlington showed a bit of grit late into the game to get two goals back and spoil Waterloo's shutout bid.
