This past weekend our Minor Pee Wee MD team participated in the 48th
Annual Gene Harrington Niagara Showdown in Niagara Falls, NY, in a A division. I was so proud with how each and every player
on the team worked tirelessly each game.
Although the first game was not successful, the boys didn’t let it bring them down. They continued to build steam each game by creating plays, passing and working together. They won 3 out of 4 games in the round robin. The final game was intense, and the players adapted to brand new plays to put pressure on a very strong A team. They brought home silver and should be so proud of themselves!
Some highlights from the tournament for me was the superb goal tending which was instrumental in achieving our wins. Our defense made some great offense plays, and our forwards continuously worked hard each shift in keeping the puck in the offensive zone.
Way to go wolves!!!
