Our boys completed a heck of a season by defeating the Kitchener Rock on their home ice by a score of 5-3 to claim the Twin City Cup (formerly known as the Record Cup).       This victory capped an unbelievable season, where our boys - The Avalanche - finished with a 31-4-3 record, losing only once in Waterloo league play, and ironically, losing the other three games on the same ice in Bradford 4 months apart - lol.         Great season played by 13 boys who didn't like losing, and a great coaching staff to assist them. Our boys came so close to winning the Bradford tournament in March after valiantly coming back from a 3-0 deficit after one period to tying it up in the second period before eventually losing 5-3 in the finals. As you can tell by the picture, they were not impressed with their silver medals but acknowledged it's better than going home empty handed. Still, the tournament was a great performance by the team.
