Wolfe helps Wolves Silent Thunder
As the old saying goes, "practice makes perfect" and that is exactly how it appeared on a Henry Wolfe one-timer goal off a Bryce Noble feed. " I was excited because I've been practising my one-timers, so I was excited for the opportunity, thanks to Bryce for giving me the pass." Wolfe stated after the game.
The Wolfe goal put his Waterloo team up by two at the time to help cushion the lead which the team kept the entire game. Waterloo opened up the scoring on a Curtis Horvath goal and managed to stay on top the rest of the way for a 5 to 2 win. The Wolves seemed to hit the ice fast and and really crashed the opponents net on many occasions but managed to skate away after the whistle and stayed out of the penalty box. The coaching staff was very pleased with what they saw in their teams first game together. 'We were very pleased with the effort from these guys tonight, they really haven't had that much time to play together and they really didn't seem to miss a beat" " It was a great start, we still have a ways to go to get to where we need to be for the end of the year, but it was a great start to our journey, these boys should be proud ! Coach Schill said.
