Waterloo Wolves Peewee MD White capped off a great weekend with a 4-0 win over Southpoint A/E to win the Niagara Falls Peter Mancuso tournament!
The Wolves worked hard and played hard this weekend in Niagara Falls. The boys started off the weekend strong with a convincing 5-0 win versus Flamborough. The next day the boys faced some challenges as we had a couple early whistles negating goals in a 3-1 loss against Southpoint. Then they faced further adversity when they fell into a 2-0 hole against the host Niagara Falls before piling in 4 unanswered goals in a 4-3 win. The championship was set for a rematch against Southpoint. The boys did not leave this game to chance as they outworked their opponent and controlled play the entire game, which ended in a 4-0 win. The weekend included some beauty snipes from Aiden S, Dylan B, and Jacob O. Special congratulations to Liam H, who had 2 shutouts including the championship game, as well as Patrick B, who tallied his first goal of the season. With the championship secure and wonderful memories ingrained, the boys now look to focus on league play. Way to go Wolves!
