The Road to Tier 1
Waterloo Wolves sit in 5th place. Four teams are battling for two spots in tier 1. It is between Waterloo, Brantford, Woodstock and Hamilton spitfires. Who will make tier 1?........

Game 1 vs. Burlington At the beginning of the game Owen, Cameron, Dawson with Ryan and Justin on D, were starting the game. Matt F. was starting the game in net. The game passed by with not too much happening but with five minutes to go in the first period, Burlington was outplaying us but Matt was holding us in the game. They got the first power play of the game with a tripping call. A bad line change by waterloo gave a Burlington player a big breakaway but Matt F. in net pushed the puck into the corner with his stick. As that happened, our man came out of the box to make it even strength again. Waterloo got the first goal of the game when our d, Ryan, shot the puck on net and Dawson put the puck in the net after it was bobbling in front. The five minutes went by and the wolves were winning 1 – 0 at the first intermission. About two minutes into the second, Matt made a nice save but gave up a rebound and our D and Matt kept in out of the net. We got the puck into their zone but they cleared it out and ben made a good back check to slow down the play. Their player made a great feed from in the corner to the back door but the player fanned on it as he tried to make the one timer. Ryan, went to get the puck but he fell into the boards awkwardly and was injured. They got another power play with a tripping call. Ten seconds into the power play Burlington tied up the score to make it 1 -1. Around came the second intermission and Ryan returned to the game. We went to the power play hoping we could find a goal to make it 2 -1 us. We got a penalty 1 minute 30 into our power play to make it four on four. In 30 seconds, their player would be out to make it 5 on 4. The wolves killed off their power play and were looking for a go ahead goal. The game went on and Burlington scored to make it 2 – 1 for them. We got another power play and it was our chance to tie it up. Will let a gunning shot off right off the draw, but it hit the cross bar and went out. Time was running low and we were still short a goal. We pulled our goalie so we could have our 6th skater on the ice and we just missed an open net when the game ended. Final score was 2 -1 Burlington. Game 2 vs. Kitchener blue For the opening faceoff, we started Matt B., Tristan, and Ryan on forward. Brody and Sam were starting on D with Zach in net. A couple of minutes into the game, one of their players walked into our end took a slap shot and it dinged off the cross bar. Right after, there was a scramble in front of their net and Tristan put the puck in the net. We got a power play with 6 minutes to go in the first a pass back to Justin allowed him to take an amazing slap shot from the point and it went right into the back of the net. Two minutes after that, we got a penalty to give them the man advantage. There was a face off in their end and Tristan tied up their centre man and Matt B. picked up the puck and put it into the net. So it was 3 – 0. The first intermission came around. In the second period there was a scramble in front of the net and Ryan tipped the puck into the net for a 4 – 0 lead. They went on a power play with 4 minutes to go. A player came around from behind our net and pushed the puck into the net past Zach. They got a power play with 17 seconds to go and both our teams got a penalty with 9 seconds to go. In the third period, we killed our penalty and then the game went on. As the game went on we got a penalty and Kitchener scored on it to make it 4 – 2. That penalty ended and we got another penalty with 7 minutes to go. 2 minutes after, as our player was getting out of the box, we got another penalty. We killed that and then with one minute to go we got another penalty and they pulled their goalie to make it a 6 on 4. So final score was 4 – 2 for the wolves. Game 3 vs. Hamilton spitfires The game started, and a lot of time passed with not much going on. We got a penalty and after a minute in their power play they took a penalty. Both teams killed their penalties and it was 0 – 0. We got caught in our zone and Matt made some nice saves and they got a penalty. After theirs ended we took a penalty but killed it. The first intermission came around and it was 0 – 0. In the second period, time was passing and then we took a penalty and one of their players shot the puck over matt’s shoulder. 1- 0 spitfires. After that, Ben found the puck in the slot and fired it into their net. The score was 1 – 1. In the third period not too much happened but they had a breakaway and Matt had to make a nice save to hold the tie. Late in the period, we took a penalty. One minute into our penalty they took a penalty too so it was 4 on 4. Both teams looked for a winning goal, but no one could find one before the game ended. The boys played a solid three games to get 3 out of 6 points. We achieved our goal of making Tier 1 and are hoping to make it to the Alliance Champions.

Mexican Traditions
Rod and I have had some incredible times traveling in Mexico. So when it came time to renovate our 70's home we wanted to have the warmth of Mexican décor throughout the house. It started with one Talavera sink brought back as carry on. What a story that turned out to be!!! Then we started looking for the floor tile! After a year of research we decided that we wanted the "real deal" and not red ceramic look alike for $7.00 sq/ft!! We decided to begin this company importing authentic, natural tile so that we could all afford to have it in our homes. Our sealed Saltillo floor tile is priced at less than half the price of the ceramic. You will find the same affordable prices on all of our products! If there is a design you are looking for and you don't see it here, our talented artisans will be happy to custom design it at no extra charge. We hope that you enjoy browsing through our pages and find that special item which enables you to have the warmth of Mexico in your own home. Each page includes a link to our catalogues for all products available. The small product images are just a sampling of what we can order for you! We have not included pricing as each project’s pricing differs due to volume and shipping costs. Please contact us and we will get back to you quickly with a total price for your project
