Wild and Burlington White Play a Hard Fought Game
In a rematch from game 3 of the previous weekend's London Tournament.
The 2 teams fought to a 1-1 tie this time around. Both teams skated very hard and played some very stingy defence. Kyle P was on fire in the Wild net. He made a huge blocker save followed up by a big glove save from close range.
Ryan Mervyn got in his 1st goal in a few games with nice shot over the goalies blocker to put Waterloo up 1-0.
With lots of simple, solid work by the defence and hard back checking by our forwards kept Waterloo ahead by 1 until midway through the 3rd when Burlington squeezed one through to tie it up.
Waterloo continued there strong play right to the final buzzer to hold on for a well deserved point in the standings.
Next up the Mountain Wolves.
Go Wild!!!
