Tough Loss to St. Catharines
The boys battled hard to the end.
In a hard fought game, the boys just couldn't seem to get the puck past a strong game by the opposing goaltender. The bench thought we were going up by 1 early as Jackson Heron took a nice pass in the middle and fired a hard shot but couldn't beat the goal post.
Griffin Beddis also had a nice breakaway chance but fired the puck wide. Ryan Mervyn trying not to be outdone his mates played a very strong game at forward with multiple good back checks and strong game.
The defence was also trying to get in in the act with some great puck rushes of their own. Cooper Gaul and Mason Mohr made some nice rushes out their end but couldn't get the puck past the keeper. The rest of the defence made some stingy defensive plays and did a great job of keeping the front of the net clear so their goalie could see the puck.
Overall a great team effort! Lots of good passing and playing as a team.

Next onto Woodstock. If we come out with same hard effort and teamwork, we should see a good result.
