Why did you become a hockey coach? 
Based on my varsity experiences, I felt I could provide a structured and disciplined program to maximize player skill development.

What's your Coaching Philosophy/Approach? 
I have an authoritarian approach, but I work to connect with the players as individuals and provide clear expectations.

Since watching figure skating and box lacrosse are also at the rink, it would have to be fatty acid and lipidomic research at work.

Work to stretch your comfort zone in hockey and life.

 I have a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences and I am a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. I can provide the U18 player personal and professional insights about combining athletics and academics at the postsecondary level.
