Welcome to Waterloo Minor Hockey's Initiation Program!
To those of you who are new to our Initiation Program, we first want to welcome you to our Waterloo and Waterloo Minor Hockey Association community. To those of you who were part of this program in years past, welcome back!
We are excited to welcome you, your child and your family join our Initiation Program in the U6, U7 and U8 divisions. Here at WMHA, we pride ourselves on fostering a love for the game of hockey in a safe, fun and respectful environment. We aim to make your child experience on and off the ice as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.

Fun and Development-Focused Practices:
Our Initiation Program is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of hockey through engaging and age-appropriate drills. We emphasize skill development, teamwork, and, most importantly, having fun!
Qualified Coaches
Our coaches are trained and passionate about helping each child reach their full potential. They focus on building confidence, improving skills, and ensuring every player enjoys their time on the ice.
Community Spirit:
As a part of our program, you'll connect with other families who share a love for hockey. We encourage parents and guardians to get involved, cheer on the kids, and be an active part of our vibrant community.
