HOW TO REGISTER

Hockey Canada has rolled out a new registration system for the 2021-22 season.

We hope you will find the system to be user-friendly and the process faster, as the repetition of data input has been eliminated!

IF YOU ARE BRAND NEW TO MINOR HOCKEY, YOU CANNOT REGISTER DIRECT BY USING THE REGISTER BUTTON BELOW - PLEASE CLICK  HERE, TO FILL OUT THE HOCKEY CANADA PROFILE CREATION FORM. WE WILL CREATE YOUR PLAYERS' HOCKEY CANADA PROFILE AND EMAIL YOU WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO REGISTER.

Because this is a brand new system, you will have to set up a new Hockey Canada registration account.

We have created a WMHA REGISTRATION USER GUIDE for our Families, that will walk you through each step of the registration process.  The WMHA REGISTRATION USER GUIDE can be found HERE.  Please review it closely and read all the information provided.

Payment for registration can be made by credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, VISA DEBIT) or you can choose to send an Etransfer (both options are available at checkout at the end of the registration process, within the new system).

You can also purchase a TRYOUT PASS for your player, at the same time you register (more information on Tryouts, including schedules, will be posted on our website in August).

Once you are ready to register - click the button below and you will be taken to the FIRST STEP in the registration process (please follow along with the USER GUIDE).

Registration Requirements

Proof of Age
ALLIANCE Hockey requires all participants to provide proof of age. Parents will need to submit a copy of their child's birth certificate or passport (health cards are not acceptable) the first time they register with WMHA.

You may submit a copy by emailing a scanned copy to [email protected].

Proof of age must be submitted prior to the start of evaluations.

You need only provide proof of age once. The verification will be entered into your child's Hockey Canada Registry record.

Player Transfers
If your child played hockey with another organization last season OR your family will be moving to Waterloo, please contact your last Association to initiate a Transfer.

Parent "Respect In Sport" Course

At least one (1) parent or guardian of each player registered with WMHA must complete the online Respect in Sport Parent Program as a condition of participation.  The program is a proactive, educational program that empowers parents with the tools to ensure the game is enjoyable and respectful for themselves, their children and all other stakeholders in the game.

Players cannot participate in any WMHA activities, including evaluations until the Parent Respect in Sport Program is completed. Completion of the Respect in Sport for Coaches/Activity Leaders does not satisfy this requirement. Fee for the course is $12.00.

You can access the course here:  Online Parent Respect Program

You only need to take the program ONCE—it does not expire.

If you are registering a child for the first time but have taken the program for another child, remember to add the child to your Respect in Sport account by way of their Child Management tab after you register them for the first time.

Program Schedule

WMHA House League runs a weekend program with practices and games for most age groups played on Saturday and/or Sunday from October to March. Our program schedule (practice and game schedule) is finalized in September and will be posted on our website.
