Hello U11!
My name is Amy Strauss, and I am the House League Convenor for our division. This will be my fourth year convening and I’m excited to welcome back our returning players and families, as well as new players and families, for another great season of fun, development, and community spirit. It’s been amazing to see how our hockey community continues to grow and thrive each season, thanks to all of you and your willingness to get involved.
As we get ready to hit the ice for the 2025–2026 house league season, with evaluations coming up next weekend, I’m excited to share that we will once again have four teams in the league! We are looking for head coaches and volunteers. If you’re concerned about committing to every game or practice, don’t let that stop you! We have a strong group of assistant coaches, bench helpers and parents ready to support you.
Being a head coach is a rewarding way to be involved in your child’s hockey experience, help foster teamwork and sportsmanship, and have a direct hand in building a positive and fun season for the players.
