It was great to see everyone back on the ice this weekend working hard and having fun!
Team Rosters
Preliminary team rosters are being drafted now based on the evaluation scores from this weekend. The goal is for us to have four balanced teams so please understand that although we hope to have it right from the outset, these are just preliminary rosters and there could be some player movement over the next few weeks ahead of the start of the Tri-City Hockey League (TCHL) scheduled games.
Coaches will be emailing you once they have their preliminary rosters and contact details. If you haven't heard from your coach by Wednesday lunchtime, please email me and I can let you know what team you are on.
Season Kick Off
I am still awaiting confirmation from the Association of when the TCHL will kick off but my current understanding is that this should start either the first or second week of October.
Our ice times include practices on Friday nights at Albert McCormick and home games on Saturday mornings at RIM Park. Practices start on Friday, September 20th and until the TCHL starts we will use the Saturday sessions to hold scrimmages so that we can assess the balance of the teams and identify any "trades" needed.
Once the TCHL season gets underway teams will have a mix of games in Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge. The days and times for Kitchener and Cambridge are also yet to be confirmed.

We have a league homepage which I will update
U13 League Home Page but I also intend to send updates by email to this group as and when needed because once you find out what team you are a pat of, you will be following a different page on the website and it could become easy to lose sight of this one.
Finally, I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped both on and off the ice this weekend. I couldn't have done it without you!
