My name is Amanda Wickstead and I am the Convenor this year for the U13 Division. I'm looking forward to getting the season underway, seeing familiar faces and meeting those new to our Division.
Our Evaluations are taking place at RIM Park on Friday, September 13 and Sunday, September 15 at the following times:
Friday, September 13 RIM Park - Lions
Sunday, September 15 RIM Park - Optimists
Once the Evaluations are complete, teams will be organized and coaches will reach out to you to share team information and schedules.
Which leads me to my final point, if anyone is interested in being a head coach, assistant coach, trainer or on ice helper this year, could you please let me know as soon as possible? We have a great group of coaches returning from last year, but we still have a number of spots to fill on all teams so please consider volunteering. There's no experience necessary and all costs associated with completing the required training , background checks, etc., are reimbursed by the Association.
