U16 and U18 House League - Start of Season
Welcome to Senior House League U16/18 and U18, 2022-23
season,
My name is Ken Diplock. I will be the convenor for U16/18 and
U18 divisions this year.
Due to enrollment and volunteer numbers, WMHA has combined
U16 and U18 into one group. This gives us many players and the potential for 12
teams in two divisions. It does present some challenges given the breadth of
ages and experience across U16 and U18.
SEASON PLAN – We will use the same plan as last year. There will be two divisions of 6 teams, dependent on final registration numbers, WMHA scheduling, coaches, and trainers.
Teams will play within their division. There will be no cross-over during the season.
Division 1 – Tuesday nights - 6 teams made up of the 05s with enough 06s to make even teams between the two sections.
- Any 06s wishing to play with 05s please let Ken Diplock (convenor) know!
Division 2 – Wednesday nights - 6 teams made up of the U16 (07s) and most of the 06 players.
The evaluation team, led by me, will decide which 06 players will be asked to play with the 05s. The goal is to make this a fun and enjoyable season for the players, allowing them to play with as many friends as possible. Also, we want to have fair and competitive teams across both divisions.
