Big Win Over West London
Waterloo Wolves made the trip to London to face off against West London in a match that would prove to be a nail bitter. Waterloo would be without three players, causing for a few shifts in lineups; however, the Wolves demonstrated that they could be versatile and adapt quickly to change in order to earn the victory.

It is never an easy game when the Wolves face up with West London. Knowing this, the coaches and players set the tone early and hit the ice with a single purpose...to win! The first period saw a lot of back and forth battles between the two teams. London took many shot on the Wolves goalie, #33 Hulka, however, he was playing the game of his life. With some quick deflections, and some spectacular glove saves Hulka kept Waterloo in the game. The Wolves had their fair share of shots on the London goalie, with some hard shots from defence and great rebounds from the forwards Waterloo was making their presence known. However, the London goalie was not easily overtaken and the scored stayed at zero until midway through the second period when #7 Williams made a rush for the net. Leading up to Williams goal #55 Wolfe passed to #68 Reesor who saw from the corner of his eye that his teammate was ready to put a goal on the scoreboard. The persistence and tenacity of the Wolves players was evident in this first goal. It would be 1-0 for Waterloo for much of the game until the final seconds of the third period. As the minutes ticked by, both teams scrambled to try to find the back of the net with no luck. London pulled their goalie in a last ditch attempt to overtake the Wolves, but Waterloo would not have it. Both the defence and forwards picked it up a notch during the final minute,  covering their zone and pressuring the London players. Just when the crowd thought the game was over, #66 Anderson stripped the puck from West London and made a quick pass to #2 Hancock who had an empty net in his sights. With a quick flick of his wrist he sent the puck down the ice and found the bottom right corner. Final score 2-0 Waterloo. Congratulation Wolves on a hard fought battle and well deserved win.
