Waterloo losses a close game of Battleship on Ice
Brantford sunk Waterloo’s battleship with 54 seconds left in the game.

Waterloo started the game very strong by placing themselves strategically on the ice. Both teams fired multiple shots at each other until Ben Green called H10 that sunk one of Brantford’s boats early in the game. Brantford responded with a torpedo of their own as they called J6 evening up the lost ships at one a piece.

Both team’s commander ordered several strikes against the opposition but could not find a fatal blow. The MPs were called in due to a few infractions but neither team could capitalize.

The wolves fired the puck at B2 and caused enough damage to sink another of Brantford’s cruisers giving them a 2 – 1 lead. The boys lost two ships in a row and Brantford made two lucky air drops from their B19 bomber putting them out front 3 - 2. General Stark called in the silent submarine on a sneak attack that took out Brantford’s aircraft carrier knotting the game once again. The Wolve’s goaltender had to deploy his own countermeasures to stop Brantford from getting closer to the battleship. Waterloo lost their submarine in the crossfire as Brantford went back on top 4 – 3. The boys sent in all their big guns late in the game to allow Enoch Banjo to sink the small PT cruiser boat their opponents had circling around the net and have both teams lose 4 ships on the ice. Brantford sent in a tomahawk missile with 54 seconds in the game that struck deep into the bow of Waterloo’s battleship sinking her for good.

Good effort boys. Good luck next weekend in Orillia. Bring home gold!
