Call the Copps, Waterloo Was "Ropp'd"
Despite having more scoring chances, the wolves lost 3 - 0 to Kitchener Blue in exhibition play.

The first period was fast and furious as the refs setup radar traps to catch all the speedsters on the ice. Logan Van Cromvoirt was stellar between the wickets coming up with a few key saves from point blank range. With very few stoppages in play, the period was over in a blink of an eye.

Waterloo defense held their ice in the defensive zone keeping Kitchener to the sides. They allowed Logan to see the puck. Waterloo nearly opened the scoring late in the period on a tick, tack, toe passing play but it was Kitchener that got a favourable bounce and saw the puck sneak past Logan at the end of the period.

As time was running down, Keelan Ropp picked the pocket of a Kitchener defenseman and grazed the cross bar. Nice effort deep in Kitchener's zone. Waterloo kept coming in waves and pressed their opponents very hard for most the the third period.

Work hard boys. It is total teamwork that wins the day... and the game. Keep going strong.
