Wolves Black vs Huskies White
With a respectful win in their recent past, Waterloo Wolves MD PeeWee Black were ready to extend their win streak. And win they did! Many of our players found their way to the game sheet, earning the team a solid 7-1 victory over the Hamilton Huskies White squad.

The first goal of the game was scored within the first ten seconds, by #7 Williams and #19 Bosomworth was quick to follow with the second goal less then a minute later. At the end of the first period, the Wolves had an impressive 3-0 lead after #10 Jyrkama, put in a third. The players were passing well and putting themselves in scoring position. The second period was not as pretty, but the Wolves managed to put another one past the Huskies goalie. #4 Beckner was ready and waiting for the pass from #19 Bosomworth. With such a simple, but yet quick reaction, Beckner's goal gave the Wolves a 4-0 lead. The number of shots the Wolves took on net were impressive. Going into the third period, the Wolves were hoping for a shut out, but the Huskies managed to get one past our offence, defence and goalie, #33 Obermayer. It takes a team to get a goal, as well as allow one, and the team had hoped to avoid this one. This Huskie goal was almost like a challenge to the Wolves, who sprang to action earning three third period goals. #66 C. Eamer was all over the ice, skillfully going after the puck with drive and determination to put in the sixth goal of the game. While #2 Hancock showed great patience and control as he faked and then went left to the blocker side for the seventh and final goal of the game. Final score 7-1 for the Wolves. Great weekend of hockey gentlemen. Thank you to the parents for all their hometown cheering. The positive vibe certainly made for a winning weekend!
