Novice Timber Wolves vs Orillia Terriers
The Timber Wolves go 2 - 0 at the tournament as they came out on top of the Orillia Terriers 11 - 0 in afternoon action.

The "WOLVES WALL" shutdown Orillia as Jacob Craig and Austin Zappetilli backstopped a complete game shutout. Kudos to you boys, great goaltending and awesome saves when needed.

The Timber Wolves played a much more complete game this afternoon. 30 of a possible 33 points were picked up as the boys passed the puck around and made sure that everyone on the ice had a chance to get in on the scoring action. Good things come when you keep your head up, look for the open player and skate hard.

Griffin Beddis scored 10 seconds into the game as Tim Hodson picked up the puck from the face off circle and sent Griffin in alone. 30 seconds later, with the Wolves on the attack, Jake Patterson fired a shot on net that was tipped in by Griffen Beddis scoring two goals in 40 seconds. That is a new team record! Part way through the period, Declan Uniac, Seamus Riley-McKay and Thomas Chan were working the puck around the boards applying pressure on the Orillia defense. Thomas popped one in the net making it 3 - 0. 10 seconds later, the same line was back in the offensive zone passing the puck between each other. This time Declan Uniac jammed in the puck as it was sitting all alone in the blue paint. One minute later, Griffin Beddis, Ethan Wasylyshyn and Cole Hunsberger dazzled the crowd with the Tic-Tac-Toe play as Cole Hunsberger made it 5 - 0 half way through the first period. Deep in the Orillia zone, Quade Willson received the puck from Cole Hunsberger off the face off and slid it back to Cole. Cole shot the puck on net where Jacob Stark was located. Jacob pushed the puck in the net.

The second period saw the line of Finn Skuterud, Tim Hodson and Griffin Beddis pick up the only two goals by the wolves. Finn Skuterud notched his first goal of the tournament as Tim Hodson and Griffin assisted. 22 seconds later, Griffin scored his third goal of the match as Tim Hodson and Finn Skuterud assisted.

Quade Willson assisted as he sent Cole Hunsberger in all alone. That was Cole's 6 goal of the tournament. Griffin Beddis picked up his 6th point of the game (3 goals, 3 assists) as he and Thomas Chan assisted on a Jake Patterson goal shot from the blue line. Ethan Wasylyshyn finished the scoring off as Cole Hunsberger and Tim Hodson got the assists.

A very nice game team. You spread out, passed the puck around, skated hard and had several quality shots on net. It was a real treat to watch.

Cole Hunsberger took the game's hardest worker helmet.

Tim Hodson received the team assist stick for his 4 assists in the game. Wowsers!
