U9 MD Gold, U13 AAA and U18 AAA have all claimed ALLIANCE Championships!
U9 MD Gold won the Tier 1 title at the ALLIANCE Championships hosted in Cambridge this weekend. With a 3-0-0 record in the round robin, the Wolves earned a bye to the Championship game on Sunday afternoon.
They met up with the West London Hawks and won convincingly with a 6-0 win! They finished with a 22-5 GF-GA ratio.
U13 AAA claimed their title this weekend as well, and were just as dominant as the U9's. Competing in Chatham, they went 3-0-1 which was good enough to earn them a spot in the final. They played the Huron-Perth Lakers and shut them out 4-0, claiming their second consecutive ALLIANCE Championship.
With the win, they won their way into the 2026 U13 AAA OHF Championship being hosted in Waterloo from April 8-12.
The U18 AAA Wolves won their ALLIANCE Championship last week on March 24 on the road vs Elgin-Middlesex. In Game 6 of the six-game series, they beat the Canucks 5-1 in convincing fashion. The win qualifies them for the U18 Central Region Championship, which they kick of today vs Ottawa Myers Automotive.
Congrats to each team, and good luck to the U13's and U18's at OHF's!
