Waterloo Minor Hockey Evaluations - Information You Need to Know!
Are you ready to hit the ice and compete for a spot on one of our Waterloo Minor Hockey Association (WMHA) teams?
Evaluations are just around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome new and returning players for the 2026-27 Season.
Evaluation Schedule & Important Dates
Evaluations for our representative teams from U10 to U18, will take place this Spring. You can find the full evaluation schedule here:

For our U8MD and U9MD teams, evaluations will take place in the SPRING, as well, so stay tuned for those dates and times shortly!
Evaluation Registration Opens April 1st
As per the OHF mandate, registration for evaluations will open on April 1st. We are not permitted to open the registration prior to April 1st. Players interested in participating must complete the registration process before stepping on the ice.
What You Need to Know About Registration
✔️ Registration for evaluations will be available online starting April 1st.
✔️ Evaluation fees and additional details will be posted on our website soon.
✔️ Players must be registered with WMHA before participating in any evaluation session.

When you see 2 x groups in your tryout schedule, you will be notified on which session to attend after registration and before your first scheduled tryout.
🥅🏒Goaltender Only Tryouts - U10 to U13
Back by popular demand - our goaltender only evaluations will be offered for age groups U10 to U13. These sessions are not mandatory and are offered at no additional cost (included in your tryout fee). These sessions allow our goalies the opportunity for additional visibility by our Evaluators and Coaches. These sessions are in ADDITION to the regular evaluation ice times. Once a goaltender is registered for tryouts, we will reach out directly with more information.
