U11 BB Takes Home Wayne Gretzky International Tournament
The U11 BB Wolves took on international competition over the Christmas break in Brantford and came out on top.
The Wolves went undefeated en route to a thrilling 2-1 overtime win in the final vs the host Brantford 99ers. Caleb C. scored the overtime winner with a beautiful backhand.
"All the players worked hard over the three days of hockey, and I am sure there are many great memories that will stick with the players for years to come" said Head Coach Scott Leatherdale.
"Our goalies were a wall between the pipes, our defense were solid as always in the back end game after game, and our forwards simply out-worked the competition. Our hard work at practice is paying off. Proud of this group of boys. You wont find a more coachable team than this group. Thanks to the coaches, the bench staff, and the parents for being such a great group."
The U11 BB Wolves look to improve on their 10-4-1 record in the second half of the season.
