We know how much our hockey families rely on LiveBarn to watch games and practices online — especially when you can’t be there in person.
Unfortunately, there was a LiveBarn outage last night at RIM Park – Pillers Ice Pad, lasting approximately 45 minutes during the U18AAA game.
We want to confirm that this outage was not related to the Waterloo Minor Hockey Association (WMHA), City of Waterloo staff, or Arena Operations. The issue was caused by a camera malfunction within the LiveBarn system itself.
While technology issues can happen occasionally, we understand how frustrating it is when you’re trying to watch your player on the ice. Please know that WMHA and City of Waterloo staff do not have access to LiveBarn’s systems and cannot troubleshoot technical issues with a camera.
π Albert McCormick Arena – Camera Reinstallation Update
We’ve also received many questions about LiveBarn streaming at Albert McCormick Arena.
The LiveBarn cameras were temporarily removed during summer construction and have not yet been reinstalled.
The good news is that LiveBarn technicians have visited the site, and the cameras are expected to be reinstalled and reactivated soon. We’ll share an update on our website and social media channels as soon as the feed is back online.
π¬A Note on Communication
We always welcome your feedback and questions — but please remember that the WMHA Staff and City of Waterloo staff are not responsible for LiveBarn technical outages.
We’re happy to help direct you to the right resources, and help where we can, but respectful correspondence is expected and appreciated.
Any LiveBarn updates regarding Albert McCormick will be posted on our website, as soon as we are provided with the information.
Thank you!
