πŸ’ Get Ready for the 2025-26 House League Season!
THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!

The Waterloo Wolves House League program is excited to welcome back players and families for another great season of fun, development, and community spirit.

Whether you’re returning to the ice or lacing up for the first time, our goal is to create an inclusive, skill-building environment where every player can grow their love of the game.

πŸ” What Are “Evaluations”?

At the start of every House League season, we host evaluation skates—sometimes called “start-up skates.” These are not tryouts. Instead, they’re a fun and relaxed way for coaches to see players on the ice before teams are formed.

During evaluations, players will go through a series of simple drills and short scrimmages so coaches can:

  • Assess basic skating and hockey skills

  • Ensure teams are balanced and competitive

  • Place players with peers of similar skill levels

Balanced teams mean more fun, closer games, and better development for everyone throughout the season.
