The WMHA will be offering a Body Checking Clinic for all of our U14 aged players (birth year: 2011) on
Sunday, April 7th, 2024 at the
Waterloo Memorial Rec Complex.
Participating in a sanctioned Body Checking Clinic (one provided by a Hockey Canada trained instructor) is
mandatory for all players at this age group, who plan on playing at a level where body checking is permitted.

CLICKING HERE.The clinics are open to all U14 aged Waterloo players, who qualify by residency (those living in Waterloo) or are Zone players (those players who plan on playing AAA hockey in Waterloo and who's Home Association is Centre Wellington, Drayton, Tavistock, Twin Centre or Woolwich) AND have purchased a tryout pass for 2024 Spring tryouts.
Each session will be limited to 40 participants (skaters ONLY - goaltenders are not encouraged to attend). You are to attend 1 x session only (not both) and the cost is included in your tryout pass.

For those players in the U13 age group, that anticipate playing at the AAA and AA level (where body checking is permitted) and will be affiliated to a team at U14, additional sessions will be provided in the Fall. Stay tuned for more details regarding these sessions in the summer months.
