FOOD DRIVE FOR THE FOOD BANK OF WATERLOO REGION - HOSTED BY THE U16 SELECT TEAM!
Submitted By Connor Lawrence on Thu 03 23, 23
Attention all WMHA community members!

The U16 Select Hockey Team has organized a food collection for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region during the year end house league tournament, and we need your support!

Earlier this season, the U16 Select Hockey Team volunteered at the food bank and witnessed first-hand the important work that they do to support our community. Our players sorted food donations for 2,463 meals!! Now, the team wants to continue their support by organizing a food drive to collect much-needed items for those in need.

If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, you can make a difference by donating non-perishable food items. Our players will take turns managing a donation/collection table set up at the tournament at RIM Park and have another donation table at Albert McCormick on Friday and Saturday.

We invite you to bring any non-perishable food items to the table and help us make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Below is a link to the most needed items.

For those who are unable to bring physical donations, we will also have a QR code available for anyone who wishes to donate cash directly to the bank. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference to those in need.

Thank you in advance for your support, and we hope to see you at the rink to help us make a difference in the community!
