Region of Waterloo Mask Bylaw
Submitted By WMHA on Mon 03 21, 22
Commencing March 21, 2022, face masks/coverings are no longer mandated in Region of Waterloo facilities.

However,  WMHA's mask policy will remain in effect for the remainder of the season for coaches and players.  This means coaches and players must continue to wear a facemask when entering or exiting the arena, at all times in dressing rooms.  Coaches must also continue to wear facemasks on the bench.

Public Health reminds us that COVID-19 continues to spread and that masks are an added layer of protection as they remain an effective way to protect our players, ourselves, each other, and our community from transmission of COVID-19.

We encourage all WMHA members to remain vigilant and continue practicing infection control measures such as passive screening, physical distancing, frequent hand washing and staying home if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
