UPDATE TO RESUMPTION OF PLAY - 2022
ALLIANCE Hockey has announced today that Associations are able to resume participation in external play, as of January 2nd, 2022.

ALLIANCE Hockey has stated their priority is to have kids on the ice to complete the season.

As long as Public Health and the Ministry allow for game play, we will be moving forward with our schedule, as planned.

To confirm, that means ALL games for ALL levels of WMHA Hockey (AAA, AA/AA, MD, House League and Select), will resume as of January 2, 2022. The schedule on our website, is current and applicable. That includes practices for ALL levels of WMHA Hockey, as scheduled.

Any current scheduled Tournaments are also permitted to run and any WMHA Teams already registered in these tournaments, may plan on attending.

Some reminders:

1. Please continue to use the WMHA COVID-19 SCREENING TOOL, found on our website, PRIOR to attending any game (HOME OR AWAY), practice or team event
2. Do NOT attend any hockey (game, practice, team event) if you have any new or worsening symptoms. Stay home if you don’t feel well.
3. Please remember, proof of vaccination is mandated for ALL participants born 2009 or earlier (all players, coaches, trainers, spectators) who are eligible for vaccination (2 doses). Eligible Participants (born 2009 or earlier) must present their enhanced screening QR code, to enter ALL facilities.
4. Wear face coverings when in the Facilities. On Ice Participants are required to wear masks in the dressing rooms until they are ready to go on the ice (take off your mask, put on your helmet).

As we are in an ever-changing situation regarding COVID-19, please watch the website for updates.

Thank you and Happy New Year!
