Enhanced Vaccine Certificates - Required for Entry to City of Waterloo Facilities
Submitted By Tracey Williams on Fri 12 31, 21
From the CITY OF WATERLOO:

This is a reminder that starting January 4, 2022, ONLY the enhanced vaccine certificates with QR codes can be used by all ages as proof of vaccination when entering City Facilities.

This is a requirement as outlined in the Ontario Regulations 345/20, Rules for Areas in Step 3 and at the Exit Roadmap Step (updated Dec 20, 2021).

Thank you for wearing your masks, keeping socially distant, practicing good hygiene and getting vaccinated. Taking these measures and following safe practices are more important now than ever.

Cooperation by all our sport rental groups and their members is critical to slowing the spread of the virus within the sport community.

Regulations and directions are subject to change based on further direction and/or guidance from the Province and Regional governments. We will continue to monitor provincial regulations and announcements, and are working closely with the Region of Waterloo Public Health Unit to interpret regulations and guidelines as they are released or amended.

Thank you,
City of Waterloo, Recreation & Community Services
